Jabodetabek Weather 10 August: Jakarta-Bekasi Reach 34 Degrees, Bogor Potentially Local Rain
JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that the weather in the Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi (Jabodetabek) regions on Monday, August 10 will be dominated by cloudy to cloudy conditions with air temperatures ranging from 22 to 34 degrees Celsius.
Relatively stable weather is expected to support community activities at the beginning of the week, although the potential for cloud formation and local rain can still occur in the afternoon and evening in a number of areas.
In the DKI Jakarta area, the weather is predicted to be sunny and cloudy from morning to noon. Entering the afternoon to evening, some parts of Jakarta are predicted to be cloudy with the possibility of local rain. The air temperature ranges from 25 to 34 degrees Celsius with a humidity level of around 45-85 percent.
South Jakarta and East Jakarta are expected to be the areas with the highest temperature reaching 34 degrees Celsius, while Central Jakarta, West Jakarta, North Jakarta, and the Thousand Islands are in the range of 25-33 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, the Bogor area is predicted to experience sunny to cloudy weather with an air temperature of between 22 to 31 degrees Celsius.
The Puncak, Cisarua, and southern Bogor Regency areas are expected to be the regions with the coldest temperatures in Jabodetabek. Cloud cover is potentially increasing in the afternoon and evening and may be accompanied by local rain.
In Depok City, the weather is predicted to be sunny with a temperature ranging from 24 to 33 degrees Celsius. Potential increase in clouds and local rain can occur in the afternoon.
Similar conditions are expected to occur in Tangerang with air temperatures ranging from 24 to 33 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, Bekasi is expected to be one of the areas with the highest air temperatures, reaching 34 degrees Celsius during the day.
BMKG urges the public to maintain adequate body fluids when carrying out activities outdoors and to use protection from exposure to the sun. People who are active in the afternoon are also advised to bring rain anticipation equipment, especially for those who travel by motorcycle.
In general, the weather in Jabodetabek on Monday is expected to be quite conducive for community activities.
