bankjakarta.co.id Becomes the New Digital Face of Bank Jakarta, More Modern and Close to Customers

JAKARTA - Bank Jakarta introduced its new digital face through the official bankjakarta.co.id website. This digital transformation is part of the company's steps to build a more modern, easy to use, intuitive, and customer-oriented banking experience.

Bank Jakarta's new digital face recognition was carried out simultaneously with the Bank Jakarta x Persija Collaboration Kick-Off event at Taman Suropati, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Sunday, August 9. The atmosphere of the event was lively with the presence of the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Pramono Anung, President of Persija Jakarta, Mohammad Prapanca, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, Bank Jakarta management, Persija coaches and players, and representatives of The Jakmania.

Bank Jakarta President Director, Agus H. Widodo, said the change was not limited to changing the address of the page from bankdki.co.id to bankjakarta.co.id. More than that, the change is part of a comprehensive transformation to present a digital experience that reflects the new face of Bank Jakarta.

"For years, people have known us through bankdki.co.id. Now it's not just the domain that has changed. We want Bank Jakarta's digital experience to reflect the bank we are building, fresher, more modern, more intuitive and more customer centric," said Agus.

According to Agus, the development of Jakarta as a global city must be followed by an increase in the quality of banking services. Bank Jakarta is required to become an increasingly modern, professional, healthy, competitive institution, while remaining close to the community.

Therefore, digital transformation is not seen as a mere change in appearance. Bank Jakarta wants to build public trust through quality services and be able to answer the needs of increasingly dynamic customers.

"Transformation is not about saying that Bank Jakarta is perfect. Transformation is the courage to continue to get better," he said.

Agus added, Bank Jakarta does not want the public to choose the company solely because of its status as a bank owned by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. Customer trust must be built through the quality and ability of Bank Jakarta to provide the best services.

"We don't want people to choose Bank Jakarta just because we belong to the DKI Provincial Government. We want to be chosen because we are worthy of being chosen. That is the Bank Jakarta we are building," he said.

Sponsorship Becomes Partnership

In the midst of this digital transformation, Bank Jakarta also strengthened its closeness to the community through collaboration with Persija Jakarta. Agus said that cooperation with Persija was not merely in the form of sponsorship or installation of the Bank Jakarta logo on the jersey. The partnership is aimed at bringing together two large ecosystems that grow together in Jakarta, namely banking and football.

"Persija carries the name of Jakarta on its chest. Bank Jakarta carries the name of Jakarta in our identity. We were born and grew up together in the same city and carry one name, namely Jakarta," said Agus.

According to him, Persija has a large and fanatic supporter base through The Jakmania. This potential is considered to be developed into various programs that provide direct benefits to the community and the wider Persija family.

"This cooperation is not just a sponsorship and not just about the Bank Jakarta logo on the Persija jersey. We want to bring together two big Jakarta ecosystems, namely Persija with football, a community and an extraordinary passion, and Bank Jakarta with financial services, technology, and the city ecosystem that we serve," he explained.

Agus said the pattern of cooperation was a change from sponsorship to partnership, and from merely presenting brand visibility to an experience that can be felt by the community. "From sponsorship to partnership, from visibility to experience," said Agus.

New Spirit

The collaboration with Persija is considered more relevant because the club nicknamed Macan Kemayoran entered a new season with a number of changes. In addition to the presence of new players, Persija is now handled by coach Shin Tae-yong who is expected to be able to bring the team to appear more aggressive and competitive.

Agus sees the spirit of renewal in Persija having similarities with the transformation of Bank Jakarta. The philosophy of fast, aggressive, high mobility, daring to take opportunities, and prioritizing teamwork is considered in line with the values being built internally at Bank Jakarta.

"We are interested in Coach Shin Tae-yong's philosophy, which is to play fast, attack, have high mobility and move as a team. That is also what we are doing at Bank Jakarta. We want to be faster, more agile, more courageous to seize opportunities and most importantly, the entire organization moves as a team," he said.

The common spirit was then summarized by Agus in the new face of the two institutions that both carry the name of Jakarta. "New coach, new players, new energy. From Bank Jakarta there is also a new website, new experience, new spirit. Everything for one goal, bringing pride to Jakarta," he said.

Agus hopes that the transformation of Bank Jakarta and the update of Persija can go hand in hand. Both are expected to be able to make a greater contribution to the people of Jakarta, especially the capital city is heading towards a historic 500-year momentum. "Hopefully this season is not only Persija who will be promoted, but also Bank Jakarta," he said.

He also conveyed one target which is believed to be a common hope for Persija supporters, namely bringing back the title to Jakarta.

"There is one target that may not be written in the contract with Persija, but I believe all Jakmania have the same target. Persija must be a champion," said Agus.

According to him, Persija's title at the momentum of five centuries of Jakarta will have a special meaning for the capital's residents.

"Moreover, Jakarta is heading towards a historic five-century momentum. If Persija can present the title at that momentum, it will be the perfect gift for Jakarta," he concluded.
