Meghan Markle Reveals Princess Lilibet as Source of Her Courage

JAKARTA - Meghan Markle revealed that her daughter, Princess Lilibet, often makes her more courageous when she is hesitant.

E!News quoted Sunday, August 9, reporting that Meghan said the 5-year-old Lilibet often encouraged her when she questioned whether she was capable of doing something.

"Every day when I'm feeling a little like, 'Oh my god, can I do this?' I think, 'Lili would do it,'" Meghan told InStyle in an interview shared to Instagram on August 7.

Meghan and Prince Harry have two children, Princess Lilibet, 5, and Prince Archie, 7.

The founder of As Ever also said that being a mother was a strength for her.

"All mothers, in my opinion, have superpowers because we go through it all, balance it all, and still enjoy it with calmness and firmness at the same time," he said.

Not long ago, Meghan shared a rare photo of her family enjoying a summer vacation in England.

In an Instagram post on July 23, Meghan was seen on the beach with Harry, Archie, and Lilibet. Meghan looked out to the sea, while Harry and his two children played in the waves.

He gave a brief explanation to the upload, "Summer Holiday".

The trip was also an important moment for Archie and Lilibet. They reportedly met King Charles for the first time in four years.

Royal fans also suspected another photo from the trip was taken at Althorp, West Northamptonshire, known as the ancestral home of the late Princess Diana, Harry's mother.

Meghan previously said she was trying to divide her time between work and children.

"This is a very important age. I don't want to miss a single moment with my children," Meghan said in an episode of Aspire With Emma Grede in June 2025.

He said he still tried to be present in the children's daily activities, from taking them to and from school to accompanying their activities.

"I love being able to drive them to and pick them up from school, then have meetings in between, go to Disneyland for two days like we just did, volunteer to serve hot lunches at school, or accompany kindergarteners on field trips," she said.

On The Jamie Kern Lima Show in April 2025, Meghan also spoke of her love for Archie and Lilibet.

"I know they're going to feel like, 'Oh my god, no one has ever loved someone as much as our mom loved us,'" Meghan said.

"And I really run with it. It's part of my daily life in showing them love."
