MSCI to Announce August 2026 Index Review Results

JAKARTA - Global index provider Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) is scheduled to announce the results of the August 2026 Index Review (August 2026 Index Review) or index rebalancing on August 12, 2026.

The review includes various global stock indices, including MSCI Global Standard Indexes, MSCI Global Small Cap Indexes, MSCI Micro Cap Indexes, MSCI Global Value and Growth Indexes, MSCI Frontier Markets Indexes, MSCI Frontier Markets Small Cap Indexes, MSCI Frontier Emerging Markets Indexes, MSCI US Equity Indexes, MSCI US REIT Index, MSCI China A Onshore Indexes, and MSCI China All Shares Indexes.

Based on MSCI's official announcement, all changes resulting from the index review process will be implemented after the close of trading on August 31, 2026.

"All changes to the review results will take effect at the close of trading on August 31, 2026," wrote MSCI's official announcement, quoted on Friday, August 7.

MSCI also revealed that the list of stocks added or removed from the index will be published through its official website shortly after 23.00 Central European Summer Time (CEST) on August 12, 2026.

"MSCI will post the list of stocks added to and removed from the index in the August 2026 Index Review via its official website, www.msci.com, shortly after 23.00 Central European Summer Time (CEST) on August 12, 2026," the announcement read.

In addition to being available on the MSCI official website, the summary of the rebalancing results can also be accessed through the MSCN page on Bloomberg and the MSCI public page on Reuters.

More complete rebalancing information will be provided to MSCI clients immediately after the summary of the review results is published.
