Out of the KPK Detention Center for Inspection, Febrie Adriansyah Wearing a Pink Vest to Kejagung
JAKARTA - Former Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Febrie Adriansyah was finally seen wearing a pink Attorney General's Office (Kejagung) prisoner vest.
The moment occurred when Febrie was brought from the Red and White Building Branch of the KPK Detention House today. He will undergo an examination at the Attorney General's Office.
From field observation, Febrie left the KPK Detention Center at around 13.05 WIB, Friday, August 7, or after performing Friday prayers. His hands were handcuffed and carrying a blue map.
There was no statement from Febrie when he wanted to get into the green-colored detention car. He just managed to throw a smile to two members of the TNI who came to pick him up.
Meanwhile, KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo said Febrie was released from the detention center because he would be questioned. The request to release the suspect for alleged money laundering (TPPU) has been sent by the Attorney General's Office.
"Yes, the KPK received a request for a bontah (prisoner's bond or borrowing a prisoner) from the Attorney General's investigators for the needs of the examination of FA," said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to reporters through his written statement, Friday, August 7.
Budi said the application said Febrie would be released during the day.
Similarly, Febri Diansyah as Febrie Adriansyah's legal team said he had received information regarding the examination. The request for information will be carried out during the day.
"I was informed that there was a plan to inspect this afternoon by the 9th Team of the Attorney General's Office," Febri told reporters via text message, Friday, August 7.
Febri has not specified where the location of the Febrie Adriansyah examination is. However, he ensured that his client would be cooperative in the examination process.
"We will provide more information later," he said.
Since being named a suspect, Febrie has been detained at the KPK Red and White Building Branch State Detention House.
In the case of the alleged TPPU, investigators in Team 9 have named two suspects, namely former Jampidsus Febrie Adriansyah and the private party Nurman Herin. This process was carried out based on the Investigation Order (Sprindik) Number Print-03/F.2/Fd.2/07/2026 which was issued on July 20, 2026.
The Sprindik was issued after the Attorney General's Office received the transfer of case files and evidence from the National Police in the form of gold weighing 74 kilograms and foreign currency worth hundreds of billions of rupiah.
The Attorney General's Office issued three sprindik after receiving the transfer of cases from the National Police.
The three investigation orders include cases of alleged corruption and TPPU at PT KNI, alleged corruption in coal management at the power plant which is suspected of triggering power outages, as well as alleged corruption and TPPU in handling the PT Asabri case.
