JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office (Kejagung) or Team 9 investigators are scheduled to examine the former Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Febrie Adriansyah as a suspect in the alleged money laundering (TPPU) case today.
"Yes, the plan today is that Brother FA (Febrie Adriansyah) is scheduled to be examined by Team 9 as a suspect," said Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) of the Attorney General's Office, Anang Supriatna, as reported by ANTARA, Friday, August 7.
Regarding the time and location of the examination, Anang could not reveal it.
"It depends on the investigators of Team 9," he said.
Based on the information collected, Team 9 will examine Febrie Adriansyah at the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) complex, South Jakarta.
Since being named a suspect, Febrie has been detained at the KPK Red and White Building Branch State Detention House.
In the case of the alleged TPPU, investigators in Team 9 have named two suspects, namely former Jampidsus Febrie Adriansyah and the private party Nurman Herin.
The investigation was carried out based on the Investigation Order (Sprindik) Number Print-03/F.2/Fd.2/07/2026 which was issued on July 20, 2026.
The Sprindik was issued after the Attorney General's Office received the transfer of case files and evidence from the National Police in the form of gold weighing 74 kilograms and foreign currency worth hundreds of billions of rupiah.
Previously, the Attorney General's Office also issued three sprindik after receiving the transfer of cases from the National Police.
The three investigation orders include cases of alleged corruption and TPPU at PT KNI, alleged corruption in coal management at the power plant which is suspected of triggering power outages, as well as alleged corruption and TPPU in handling the PT Asabri case.
In the PT Asabri case, the National Police named Febrie Adriansyah as a suspect in alleged corruption and TPPU, while Don Ritto was named a TPPU suspect.
