KPK Threatens to Pick Up Rudy Tanoe in Rice Social Assistance Corruption Case

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) threatened to forcibly pick up the President Commissioner of PT Dosni Roha Logistics and President Director of PT Dosni Roha Indonesia Bambang Rudijanto Tanoesoedibjo alias Rudy Tanoe (BRT) if he missed the next summons and examination.

Today, Rudy Tanoe again failed to appear for a call from the KPK to testify in the case of alleged corruption in the distribution of rice social assistance for beneficiaries of the hope family program (PKH).

"Of course, later the investigators will consider the next legal steps against those who then do not return to attend the scheduled examination," said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo at the KPK Red and White building, Kuningan, South Jakarta, Thursday, August 6.

Budi said that investigators had scheduled Rudy Tanoe's examination today, Thursday (6/8/2026). However, said Budi, Rudy Tanoe asked for a rescheduling because there were activities that had been scheduled.

"However, today, the witness who was summoned by the BRT brother did not attend the scheduled examination and had confirmed the request for a rescheduled appointment," said Budi.

Budi also asked Rudy Tanoe to be cooperative with the KPK's summons and examination. The reason is, Rudy Tanoe has missed several KPK summons and has never been examined since he was named a suspect in the rice social assistance case on August 19, 2025.

"We appeal to the next schedule that the person concerned, brother RBT, is present to meet the call of the investigator, because every statement from the parties called by the investigator is certainly needed for the information to complete the evidence in the investigation of the case," said Budi.

Budi emphasized that the postponement of the examination could have a negative impact on the investigation process of the alleged rice social assistance corruption case. Therefore, he hopes that Rudy Tanoe and other witnesses will be cooperative with the KPK's summons and examination schedule.

"Don't let the rescheduling that keeps being done or keeps repeating itself then delay the investigation process so that the investigation process that wants to be carried out effectively, then it becomes delayed," concluded Budi.

The KPK announced the development of the investigation of the case on August 19, 2025 by naming three people and two corporations as suspects. The case is suspected of causing state losses of up to Rp. 200 billion.

Based on the summary of the KPK's statements on September 11, 2025, October 2, 2025, and February 25, 2026, the three suspects in the case consisted of Rudijanto Tanoesoedibjo alias Rudy Tanoe (BRT), Social Affairs Expert Staff for Change and Social Dynamics Edi Suharto (ES), and Director of DNR Logistics for the period 2018-2022 Kanisius Jerry Tengker (KJT).

In addition to the three people, the KPK also named PT Dosni Roha Indonesia and DNR Logistics as corporate suspects.
