Meghan Markle's Birthday, Party Hats Even Toys for Her Two Dogs

JAKARTA - Meghan Markle's 45th birthday celebration at home was relaxed. Her two dogs with Prince Harry actually made the party hats prepared to turn into toys.

People quoted Thursday, August 6, reported that the Duchess of Sussex shared a snippet of the celebration via Instagram Stories on Tuesday, August 4. In the video, Meghan and Harry tried to put on a small silver party hat to Pula and Mia.

Pula is a black labrador, while Mia is a beagle. However, the hat did not last long on the heads of both of them.

Mia is seen rolling around on the floor with the hat crushed under her body. She also chose to carry the accessory in her mouth.

"Aduh," Harry said, greeted by Meghan's laughter.

In the next experiment, Pula briefly let the hat stay on. However, the accessory almost fell off when he stretched his body.

"Let me go. Sorry," Meghan said, laughing.

It was also adopted by Meghan and Harry shortly before the two got married in 2018. Mia joined the family in 2022.

Mia was previously rescued by the Beagle Freedom Project from a breeding and research laboratory in Virginia. Meghan contacted the organization directly because she wanted to adopt an older dog.

"The Duchess held Mia and said, 'We're going to adopt her,'" Beagle Freedom Project volunteer Shannon Keith told the Los Angeles Times.

According to Keith, Meghan was not looking for a puppy for a Christmas gift. He chose an older dog who needed help.

Before raising Pula and Mia, Meghan had a beagle named Guy. The dog moved to England before the family settled in California in 2020. Guy died in January 2025.

In addition to the video with her two dogs, Meghan uploaded two black-and-white photos to mark her birthday.

The first photo shows Meghan wearing a black swimsuit and sunglasses as she jumps into the pool while carrying a bunch of balloons. The next photo shows her already in the water with the balloons still in her hands.

A source close to the couple told People that the photo was taken by a friend during an early birthday celebration in California.

"Thank you for all the kind words and love on my birthday," Meghan wrote.

His lifestyle brand, As ever, also posted a birthday greeting. The post contains a number of photos, including an old portrait of Meghan when she was a child with her hair in two braids.

Meghan was born on the same day as her late mother-in-law Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, August 4.

In Spare's memoir, which will be published in 2023, Harry wrote that the similarity in birth dates had once made his father, King Charles, happy and recalled his grandmother.
