LSI Survey: Security-Unity of the Nation in the Prabowo-Gibran Government Achieves the Highest Level of Satisfaction

JAKARTA - Security and national unity are the two sectors that have the highest public satisfaction with the performance of the government of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka ahead of the two years of their leadership.

The results of the Indonesian Voice Laboratory (LSI) survey showed that 90.9 percent of respondents expressed satisfaction with the government's performance in maintaining national security. Meanwhile, 7.3 percent of respondents expressed dissatisfaction, and the other 1.8 percent did not provide an answer.

The Executive Director of the Indonesian Voice Laboratory, Muhammad Riyad, said the high level of satisfaction showed that the public still assessed the government as being able to maintain the national security situation amid various global challenges.

"Security is an important foundation for development. The high level of public satisfaction shows that the government is considered capable of maintaining national stability so that economic activities and social life can run well," said Riyad in a statement in Jakarta, Thursday, August 6.

Apart from security aspects, the survey also noted that 89.4 percent of respondents were satisfied with the government's performance in maintaining national unity and unity. As many as 8.3 percent of respondents expressed dissatisfaction, while 2.3 percent chose not to answer.

As for the aspect of interreligious harmony, as many as 77.8 percent of respondents said they were satisfied with the government's efforts to maintain community harmony. Meanwhile, 19.4 percent of respondents said they were dissatisfied, and 2.8 percent did not give an answer.

According to Riyad, this achievement is an indicator that the public still gives a positive assessment of the government's ability to maintain social stability in the midst of political dynamics and global conditions that continue to evolve.

He assessed that the success in maintaining security and unity was an important capital for the government to continue various national development programs in the second year of his administration.

The Indonesian Voice Laboratory Survey was carried out on July 21-28, 2026, with 1,668 respondents aged 17 years or older or have met the requirements as voters.

Sampling is carried out using a multistage random sampling method with a margin of error of ±2.4 percent at a 95 percent confidence level. The survey covers 38 provinces in Indonesia proportionally based on data from the 2024 General Election Permanent Voter List (DPT), through face-to-face interviews conducted by trained interviewers using a digital application.
