Celebrate Independence, GoPay Merchant Presents Special Promo to Support the Digitization of MSMEs
JAKARTA - In order to welcome the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, GoPay Merchant, part of the GoTo group, presents PESTA (Increasing Economic Opportunities) 17AN which takes place from August 1 to 31, 2026.
This program celebrates the growth of merchants using the GoPay Merchant application, while inviting MSMEs to utilize digital payment solutions to develop their businesses.
Haryanto Tanjo, Head of GoPay Merchants, said, in welcoming Independence Day, his party wants to invite more MSMEs to grow together through GoPay Merchant through easy, safe, and reliable digital payment technology.
"Through PESTA 17AN throughout August, we present the GoPay Spiker promo, as well as Print QRIS, culminating on August 15-17 where the activation fee for GoPay Spiker becomes Rp. 17,845 from the usual Rp. 100,000, while the cost of printing QRIS becomes Rp. 17 from the usual Rp. 2,500, so that business actors can run their business more efficiently, reach more customers, and continue to grow," he said, in a written statement, Thursday, August 6.
As part of PESTA 17AN, GoPay Merchant also released the "17 Merdeka Business Stories" program which shares the inspiring stories of merchants from various regions during the 17 days leading up to Independence Day. This program aims to inspire MSMEs on how technology and digital payments can increase operational efficiency and drive their business growth.
GoPay Merchant also invites merchants throughout Indonesia to enliven PESTA 17AN through various challenges on social media with a total prize of up to IDR 17,000,000. The challenges include Independence from Fraudulent Transactions by uploading photos with their GoPay Spiker, Red and White Shop by displaying independence-themed store decorations, Caption Battle which shares the meaning of independence in running a business together with GoPay Merchant, and Tag 7 Friends to invite fellow business actors who have not used GoPay Spiker.
