Sarwendah's Side Refuses to Respond to Ruben Onsu's Health Issues, Choosing to Discuss Loyalty
JAKARTA - Sarwendah's lawyer, Chris Sam Siwu, regretted that private matters were leaked to the public, including the issue of the "three letters" disease that was widely discussed by netizens. He emphasized that his client was a loyal wife, especially when Ruben Onsu was sick.
"We are very, very sorry, what we have been taking care of, what we have discussed with all the lawyer teams and clients that we must keep the meeting very private, it turns out that the public accidentally knows," said Chris Sam Siwu at the South Jakarta District Court, Thursday, August 6.
Chris also touched on Sarwendah's dedication during their marriage, especially when Ruben's health declined drastically.
"Our client once took care of her husband during the marriage. At a time when her husband was experiencing the lowest point of health, our client faithfully took care of him, did not leave him at that time until the husband could recover. This means that this wife has fulfilled her duties well," he said.
Regarding the issue of HIV associated with the chat that is circulating, Chris chose not to go into medical details but provided a defense.
"The pain at the time Wenda was taking care of was definitely at the lowest point of her husband's health, which means it was serious. We didn't say what the disease was. But Wenda was there with courage, she didn't leave," concluded Chris.
