150 BRIN Researchers Summoned to the Palace, Prabowo Will See Innovation Products Directly

JAKARTA - A total of 150 researchers from the National Research and Innovation Agency or BRIN were invited to the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, Thursday, August 6. They will showcase hundreds of research products curated from various innovation clusters.

BRIN Head Arif Satria said the invitation was an opportunity for researchers to have a direct dialogue with President Prabowo Subianto. BRIN will also present findings and innovations that are considered to help answer various national issues.

"Researchers were invited to the palace to dialogue with the President, as well as receive directions," said Arif at the Presidential Palace Complex.

According to Arif, BRIN has several times presented the results of research in limited meetings, both in Hambalang and at the Palace. Issues discussed include garbage, giant sea wall, water, food, and a number of other issues.

This time, BRIN received a special invitation to present its innovations more fully.

The products brought were not few. Arif said there were about 12 research clusters on display. The number of products is more than 150 after being curated, even up to 200 products.

"Our products are about 12 clusters. After being curated, more than 150 products, about 150 to 200 products," said Arif.

Not all research results can be brought to the Palace. Some products are in various regions. Some others are large in size so that it is not possible to be exhibited directly.

Arif said President Prabowo was scheduled to tour the innovation. Researchers will also be directly met by the President to get directions.

BRIN will showcase research products in the fields of food, energy, fishing villages, Free Nutritious Meals or MBG, space, aviation, nuclear, rare earth metals, housing, transportation, and health.

Arif said BRIN researchers were enthusiastic because they were given the opportunity to meet directly with the President.

"Our researchers are very happy and happy because they have been trusted to be able to meet directly with the President," he said.
