BRIN Presents Research for Government Priority Programs, from Food to Waste

JAKARTA - The National Research and Innovation Agency or BRIN will present a number of research results aimed at helping achieve government priority programs.

Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi said that the research discussed was related to basic needs and problems close to the community.

According to Prasetyo, the main focus of BRIN's exposure includes food, energy, waste management, as well as a number of other innovations that can be used to answer problems in the field.

"BRIN friends will present some research results that are indeed focused on helping to achieve government priority programs, in terms of food, energy, and several things that can solve the problems faced by the community," said Prasetyo through a written message received in Jakarta, Thursday, August 6.

He said that one of the issues discussed was garbage. In addition, there is also the development of solar cell or solar panel-based boats.

Solar panels are a technology that converts sunlight into electrical energy. In the context of a boat, this technology can be used as an alternative energy source.

"For example, garbage, then solar cell-based boats, and so on," said Prasetyo.
