Celebrating MAIN, HIVI's First Original Work! with New Vocalist

JAKARTA - HIVI! has been running his new formation with Kei Cinantya as a vocalist on various stages. Now the first original work with this formation has finally been released.

Ilham, Febri and Kei greet their listeners through the latest single titled MAIN. The warm pop atmosphere that is their identity can still be felt in the latest work. MAIN brings a cheerful impression that invites listeners to have fun, make peace, and enjoy every process with the people they meet and the things they experience in life.

The song at first glance sounds like a love song. However, for HIVI!, the meaning of the song is much broader. 'MAIN' tells the story of someone who tries to take care of the things they love by choosing to make peace with the situation, instead of continuing to fight a situation that can't always be changed.

"This song invites us to enjoy life and make peace with whatever is happening. Sometimes there are things we can't just leave. What we can do is understand the situation, then find what we can still enjoy and be grateful for," said Ilham in an official broadcast.

This message is not only applicable to romantic relationships, but can also be applied in many aspects of life, ranging from family, friendship, to work. Through 'MAIN', HIVI! wants to invite listeners to look back that behind every challenge, there is always a reason to stay and appreciate the journey that is being lived.

This single is also the first collaboration of HIVI! with Widi Puradiredja, who is trusted as a songwriter and producer. For HIVI!, the collaboration is a dream that finally came true after they had hoped for a long time.

"We have long wanted to work with Mas Widi. He is one of the musicians we admire very much and his works always inspire us," said Febri.

Meanwhile, for Kei, this release is something new and fun. Something special that he can finally share with listeners.

"It feels so nice to finally have a new song that we can bring together on stage. There is a sense of excitement because we can finally share new works with listeners," he said.

Different from previous works, this music video is dominated by the post-production process and presents a more exploratory visual approach. Through the music video, HIVI! raises the reality of the lives of workers who are often faced with feelings of fatigue, saturation, and the desire to give up.

"It doesn't mean we have to hide all our feelings of fatigue. But before deciding to give up, maybe there are some things that need to be reconsidered. There is always something we can be grateful for from the journey we are going through," explained Febri about the message that HIVI! brought through his latest work.

‘MAIN’ from HIVI! is available on various digital streaming platforms starting from the end of July.
