LIXIL Day of Architecture & Design (LDAD) 2026 Is an Opportunity for Exclusive Dialog with the World's Architectural Masters

JAKARTA - Departing from the belief that to form a better quality living space requires a holistic and collaborative approach, LIXIL, a global company that pioneers sustainable water and housing solutions, continues to reaffirm its commitment to strengthening the architecture and design ecosystem in Indonesia. As a sustainable manifestation of this mission, LIXIL is proud to be ready to hold the LIXIL Day of Architecture & Design (LDAD) on August 12, 2026, at Ciputra Artpreneur, Jakarta.

This inspirational forum, which is specially designed by LIXIL every two years, will bring together architects, interior designers, and design professionals with a series of world and national architectural masters, including Patrik Schumacher (Principal, ZHA), Richard Wood (Managing Director Asia, Snøhetta), Andra Matin (Principal, andramatin studio), to Gregorius Supie Yolodi (Principal, Yolodi+Maria Architects).

Still carrying the main theme, ARCHIPELAGO DIALOGUES: Architecture as a Space of Co-Creation, LIXIL invites industry players to explore architecture and design as a sustainable process formed from the diversity of collaborative elements and ideas.

Arfindi Batubara, Marketing Director of LIXIL Water Technology Indonesia, explained that in the midst of the dynamics of continued transformation, the landscape of architecture and design needs more space to learn, discuss, and collaborate.

"Through LDAD 2026, we want to provide a space where every local idea to global insight can meet and unite. We believe that the exchange of ideas can be an inspiration as well as a real support for the transformation of the national architectural landscape towards a more advanced and innovative direction," said Arfindi.

The opportunity to attend LDAD 2026 is open to the public at no cost. Given the limited seating capacity, professionals and industry players can reserve their presence by registering through the page one.lixil.co.id/events/LDAD.

Confirming the Commitment to Support the Future of the Indonesian Architecture Ecosystem

The momentum of LDAD 2026 will also mark the culmination of the LIXIL Architectural Design Competition (LADC) 2026 which has been held since May 18. In addition to opening the Exhibition Area as a showcase for selected works, LDAD 2026 will also be the stage for the coronation of the main winners of the competition.

The high enthusiasm for LADC 2026, which recorded a two-fold increase in participation compared to previous years, reflects the awareness and interest of professionals and young generations to contribute to building the future of the country's architecture. This also proves the urgency of the presence of a platform that is able to bring together innovative ideas and insights with industry players.

Until now, LIXIL has officially announced the 5 best finalists for the Professional category and 5 finalists for the Student category, which were selected after going through a rigorous curation and judging process.

Through innovation, technology, and a series of sustainable initiatives, LIXIL is driving a new standard in designing spaces that are not only functional, but also have a real impact on people's quality of life.

"We hope that the solutions and series of initiatives from LIXIL can also be the starting point for the birth of new breakthroughs that are increasingly meaningful for Indonesia in the future. We invite fellow architects and creative people to be able to attend, dialogue, and together we shape a better living space for the current and future generations," concluded Arfindi.
