Bahlil Appoints Head of Geological Agency to Head of Lemigas

JAKARTA - The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia, today, Wednesday, August 5, appointed High-ranking Officials in the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

"Today we are holding an inauguration in the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources," Bahlil told the media, Wednesday, August 5.

At the inauguration, Bahlil appointed Lana Saria, who previously served as an Expert Staff for Natural Resources Economics at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, as Head of the Geological Agency.

Furthermore, Bahlil also appointed Tirta Nugraha Mursitama who was previously an Expert Staff for Equity and Investment Partnership of the Investment and Industrialization Ministry/BKPM to become an Expert Staff for Institutional Relations.

The third official who was inaugurated was Muhammad Ikhsan Kiat as Head of the LEMIGAS Oil and Gas Testing Center, Directorate General of Oil and Gas.

Finally, Bahlil appointed Mawardi Nur as the Head of the Aceh Oil and Gas Management Agency (BPMA) to replace Nasri Djalal.

Bahlil said that the appointment of the new Geological Agency was considered to be a new role in documenting the wealth of natural resources, both in coal minerals and in the oil and gas sector.

"The second, I also appointed expert staff in the field of economics (Tirta) because it is very important how the direction of state policy through the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources is really well studied in terms of its economic impact directly to the people," he continued.

Meanwhile, regarding the appointment of Muhammad Ikhsan, the General Chair of the Golkar Party, he said this was based on President Prabowo Subianto's mandate regarding the procurement of oil and gas in the form of crude and LPG.

"The fourth is that we appointed the Head of BPMA (Mawardi Nur). BPMA Aceh is like the SKK Migas of Aceh, because it is a special autonomy, so we give special treatment," he explained.
