South Konawe Regent Suspected of Abusing His Sister's Sister Disabled

Konawe Selatan - South Konawe Regent Irham Kalenggo has deactivated Ichsan Porosidari from the position of Regional Secretary after being named a suspect in the case of abuse against his biological brother and appointed the Head of the Regional Inspectorate of Narlian as Acting Regional Secretary.

Irham said the appointment of the acting regional secretary was a crucial step so that public service functions and bureaucratic governance in South Konawe Regency (Konsel) would continue to run optimally.

"We take this step as a form of responsibility for the Konsel Regency Government in maintaining the continuity of the wheels of government and the quality of services to the community. On the other hand, this appointment is also aimed at providing space for Mr. Ichsan Porosi to focus on completing the legal process he is facing," said Irham, Wednesday, August 5, reported by ANTARA.

Irham emphasized that the existence of the daily executive secretary of the regional head is very vital to lead and maintain the effectiveness of coordination between the leadership of the local government apparatus (OPD) in overseeing all regional development programs.

"The appointment of Narlian as the Acting Secretary of the Regional Secretary has fulfilled the legal and regulatory corridors for civil servants, namely Law Number 20 of 2023 concerning the State Civil Apparatus, Government Regulation Number 94 of 2021 concerning the Discipline of State Civil Servants, and the Circular of the Head of the State Civil Service Number 1/SE/I/2021," he said.

Starting August 4, 2026, Narlian will carry out the dual task as Regional Inspector and Acting Secretary of the Council until there is further legal decisions and decisions regarding the definitive position of the secretary.

Irham hopes that all OPD units in the Konsel Regency Government will continue to strengthen synergy and maintain solidity so that the development process and service to the community continue to run continuously.

Previously, the Kendari Police, South Sulawesi, named the South Konawe Regency Secretary, Ichsan Porosi (IP), as a suspect in a case of alleged aggravated abuse of his own biological brother with the initials AP (50).

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Kendari Police, Kompol Welliwanto Malau, said that the suspect IP was arrested based on a police report that was received at the Kendari Police on Monday (3/8).

"The suspect was secured by the Kendari Police Patrol Team after receiving a report through the 110 Service. After an examination was conducted and sufficient evidence was found, the status of the person concerned was upgraded to a suspect," said Welliwanto.
