Introducing the LEX Platform LEPAS E4 EV, Bringing the Four More Concept

The electrification vehicle platform was developed to provide a driving experience through the Four More concept, such as More Stable, More Spacious, More Quiet, and More Efficient. This platform is the foundation for LEPAS E4 EV to present technology that not only improves vehicle performance, but also provides benefits that users can feel directly.
LEPAS Indonesia Product Manager, Lalu Indra Wirabhakti, said that the technology must ultimately be able to provide benefits that are truly felt by users.
"Therefore, we developed the LEX Platform to provide a more comfortable driving experience, both for daily activities and when traveling with family," he said, when met at ICE BSD, Tangerang, Tuesday, August 4.
Unlike features that can be seen immediately, the platform works behind the entire driving experience. From how the vehicle responds to road conditions, the level of comfort in the cabin, energy efficiency, to space optimization, everything is determined by the foundation of the vehicle.
Through the LEX Platform, LEPAS presents a more functional cabin through a luggage compartment of up to 1,334 liters, 35 liters of front trunk, and 33 storage spaces, so that the vehicle is able to accommodate the needs of mobility and lifestyle activities of users without reducing passenger comfort.
In terms of driving dynamics, the platform integrates MacPherson Suspension in the front and Multi-link Independent Suspension in the rear, combined with precision chassis tuning. This approach helps provide better stability in various road conditions while improving driver and passenger comfort during the journey.
Vehicle structure optimization also plays a role in improving the quality of Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) so that vibrations and sounds from the road surface can be minimized. As a result, the cabin feels quieter and more comfortable to enjoy conversations, music, and rest during the journey.
System Engineering that Optimizes Efficiency and Performance LEX Platform also integrates a 12-in-1 Integrated Electric Motor System, an electric drive system that combines various major components into a more compact and efficient unit. This technology produces efficiency of up to 90.8 percent, 160 kW power, and 275 Nm torque, so it is able to provide responsive acceleration without sacrificing energy efficiency.
This approach makes the LEPAS E4 EV able to travel more than 600 kilometers (CLTC) in a single full charge, to support more practical mobility, the LEPAS E4 EV is also equipped with DC Fast Charging capabilities of up to 130 kW, which can charge from 30 to 80 percent in just about 20 minutes. Thus, users can return to continue their journey with a shorter time.
