Scored 700th Goal In Euro Finals, Gregoritsch: Thank God
JAKARTA - Substitute Michael Gregoritsch who helped lead Austria to beat North Macedonia 3-1 in the Group C match in Bucharest, Romania, last Sunday turned out to score a goal which was the 700th goal created in European Cup history.
Gregoritsch himself welcomed his goal very emotionally and told the EURO2020.com page that he was grateful to have scored a goal.
"I've had a difficult year, two years and it's not my reward to be in the Euro final squad. I've given my all in every training and thank God I scored the goal," said Gregoritsch.
