Jajal Changan Nevo Q05, Electric SUV Price Rp300 Million with Abundant Features

Changan Indonesia has just released the Nevo Q05, and provided an opportunity for media crews to experience the Max variant's capabilities in the BSD area, Tangerang, Monday, August 3. Through a route dominated by urban roads, the electric SUV introduced at the 2026 GIIAS event features a driving character that prioritizes comfort and ease of use in everyday use.

The VOI editorial team, who also tried this car, immediately got a positive impression that it was felt as soon as they were behind the wheel. The six-way electric seat makes it easier for the driver to get an ergonomic sitting position, while the visibility to the front feels spacious, thus increasing confidence when maneuvering in the middle of heavy traffic.

When crossing bumpy roads, the suspension system is able to dampen the shock well so that the cabin remains comfortable. The atmosphere inside the car also feels quiet, supported by a spacious foot space and leather seats with Cloud Comfort Foam that provide comfort for the driver and all passengers.

The premium feel is further enhanced by the presence of a panoramic roof, ambient light with 256 color options, soft touch materials on a number of interior parts, to an eight-speaker audio system that enhances the driving experience.

In the safety technology sector, the Changan Nevo Q05 has been equipped with a complete Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) features. Starting from Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assistance, Blind Spot Monitoring, to a 540-degree camera with a Transparent Chassis feature that helps drivers monitor conditions around the vehicle, especially when parking or changing lanes.

For performance, this electric SUV relies on a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor electric motor that produces 120 kW of power and 190 Nm of torque, channeled to the front wheels. The energy source comes from a 51.9 kWh LFP battery that is claimed to be able to travel up to 462 kilometers based on the NEDC test standard.

Changan also embeds the Golden Shield Battery 2.0 technology which supports fast charging up to 162 kW. The manufacturer claims that the charging process from 30 percent to 80 percent only takes about 15 minutes, while charging for five minutes can add up to 100 kilometers of mileage.

Other convenience features also complement this SUV, such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless, Bluetooth Key, Voice Control, Pet Mode, Wash Mode, 50 watt wireless charger, and 3.3 kW Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) feature.

One of its attractions is voice control that can order to open the panoramic roof to close and open the rear trunk door. Head of Marketing Changan Indonesia, Ridjal Muljadi, said the Nevo Q05 was designed to meet the mobility needs of modern people.

In the Indonesian market, the Changan Nevo Q05 is available in two variants, namely Pro at a price of Rp309 million and Max which is marketed at Rp359 million. These prices are special offers during GIIAS 2026 and apply to the first 1,000 consumers.
