Antisipasi Lonjakan Kendaraan, Pelebaran Tol Kejapanan–Gempol Capai 97,7 Persen

JAKARTA - PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) has accelerated the completion of work on the widening of the Surabaya-Gempol Toll Road segment of Kejapanan-Gempol.

Pgs Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal PT JTT, Dary Achmad Budi said, up to week 48, the progress of the widening work had reached 97.767 percent.

"We continue to optimize the completion of the remaining work through evaluation and acceleration in the field so that we can meet the targets that have been set, while paying attention to work safety, construction quality and the comfort of road users," said Dary as quoted from a written statement, Tuesday, August 4.

The work on the widening of the Surabaya-Gempol Toll Road was carried out at KM 769+450 to KM 772+650.

According to JTT, the work is part of efforts to increase the capacity and quality of the Trans Java Toll Road infrastructure, especially on the Kejapanan-Gempol Segment.

The widening of the road is expected to support the smooth mobility of road users and anticipate the growth of traffic volume on the Surabaya-Gempol corridor.

JTT together with all related parties continues to optimize the implementation of work so that it can be completed according to the target while still paying attention to aspects of occupational safety and service to road users.

During the work, the JTT together with related parties implemented traffic arrangements and prepared safety equipment around the work area.

Supervision is carried out periodically to ensure that all stages of work are carried out according to the quality and safety standards that have been established.

The company apologized for any inconvenience that may have arisen as a result of the work.

Road users are urged to remain vigilant, obey signs and instructions from officers and reduce speed when approaching the work site.

Road users are also asked to maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front and ensure that the vehicle is in good condition.
