The 9 Kejagung Team Searches the Offices and Homes of Two Suspects in the TPPU Febrie Adriansyah Case
JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office (Kejagung) investigators through Team Nine searched a number of locations in the case of alleged money laundering (TPPU) with the origin of corruption that ensnared the former Jampidsus, Febrie Adriansyah (FA).
"The investigation team is also conducting ongoing searches in several places," said the Head of the Attorney General's Office, Anang Supriatna, in his statement, Monday, August 3.
This search targeted a number of locations, namely the offices of Don Ritto (DR) and colleagues in South Jakarta to the house of Nurman Herin (NH) in Depok. Both are known to have been given the status of suspects in connection with the case.
Investigators also searched a number of company offices, namely PT HI, PT PIS, PT KPE, and PT SME in South Jakarta.
In addition, Anang also conveyed that investigators had summoned and examined four witnesses as private employees in this case. They have the initials T, ER, DH, and HH.
The steps are taken in order to obtain evidence, clarify the construction of the case, to carry out the search for assets suspected of being the result of a criminal act. This investigative step is ensured to be carried out professionally by upholding the principles of presumption of innocence and caution.
"The investigation team will continue to convey the development of the handling of the case to the public in accordance with the needs and provisions of laws and regulations," he concluded.
