Bogor City DPRD Promotes Political Education, Aziz Muslim Enthusiastically Welcomes Young Generation

BOGOR - Member of the Bogor City DPRD H. Aziz Muslim appreciates the high enthusiasm of students and high school students in attending an interactive seminar and discussion entitled Creative Study of Parliament. According to him, the enthusiasm of the younger generation to understand the political world and the function of the legislative institution is an important capital for strengthening democracy in the region.

Aziz conveyed this after being a resource person in an activity attended by high school students in Bogor City. On that occasion, he explained the main duties, authorities, legislative functions, budgeting, to the oversight functions carried out by the Bogor City DPRD.

"Today we discussed with students and high school students in the Creative Study Forum of the Parliament. My response was very positive, they were enthusiastic to listen to the material and actively ask questions," said Aziz Muslim, Monday, August 3.

The Gerindra Party politician assessed that the active involvement of students and students in political education forums shows the increasing concern of the younger generation about governance and the process of public policy-making.

According to him, understanding of the system of government and the role of the legislative institution needs to be instilled from an early age so that a generation of critical, participatory, and concerned about regional development is born.

"Alhamdulillah, there are young generations who want to understand about political science, duties, authority, and the functions of DPRD members, to the discussion of the budget," he said.

During the discussion session, the participants not only listened to the presentation of the material, but also actively asked various questions regarding the DPRD's working mechanism, the process of preparing the regional budget, to the role of the people's representatives in overseeing the course of government.

Aziz hopes that activities such as the Creative Study of Parliament can continue to be carried out sustainably as a means of healthy political education for students and students.

"Through activities like this, I hope that more and more young generations will understand the democratic process, care about regional development, and will be able to contribute positively to the progress of Bogor City," he concluded.
