Terima Audiensi Jasa Marga, Korlantas Polri Sebut Penerapan Zero ODOL Dimulai Awal 2027

JAKARTA - The National Police Traffic Corps (Korlantas) and Jasa Marga collaborate in handling over dimension over loading (ODOL) vehicles.

The collaboration was discussed when the Head of the National Police, Inspector General of Police. Wibowo, together with his staff, received an audience with the President Director of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk Rivan A. Purwantono and the board of directors today.

The National Police Deputy Chief, Inspector General of Police Wibowo, said that the implementation of the Zero ODOL policy was targeted to start in early 2027.

He also emphasized that handling ODOL vehicles should not only focus on law enforcement downstream, but also consider the economic balance of the community.

According to Wibowo, solving problems from the upstream sector, such as the involvement of employers and transporters, is also the key to ensuring that the policy provides effective results and does not have counterproductive impacts in the field.

"Korlantas, right, always works downstream. Upstream work has a very big impact on downstream work. If everything is thrown downstream, without enough mature consideration, the results will be counterproductive to what is desired," he said in a written statement, Monday, August 3.

As part of the technical solution, Jasa Marga strengthened the supervision of heavy vehicles through the optimization of early detection technology.

Jasa Marga President Director Rivan A. Purwantono said his party added Weigh In Motion (WIM) facilities from two points to eight points.

The facility is integrated with surveillance cameras and Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) technology to detect the weight and dimensions of vehicles in real time.

The data is then directly synchronized to the Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) system of the National Police.

Jasa Marga, said Rivan, also encourages the integration of digital data through the Travoy application which is equipped with Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology.

The RFID data will be coordinated with the Police's Korlantas Registration and Identification (Regident) data and the Ministry of Transportation's periodic test data (Kemenhub) to strengthen the monitoring and supervision of the legality of freight vehicles.

"System reinforcement is also carried out through the Jasamarga Tollroad Command Center (JMTC) which is ready to be used together at crucial points. The integration of this command center is expected to accelerate the response to incident handling and strengthen cross-sector coordination," said Rivan.

According to Rivan, all of these digital innovations and infrastructure aim to create convenience and safety for public mobility, especially in the face of the density of the 2026 Christmas and New Year holidays.

"Collaboration and utilization of this joint data system are the key. Jasa Marga and Korlantas Polri have interrelated tasks in ensuring the smoothness and safety on the toll road," he concluded.
