Sarwendah Reveals the Reason for Being Angry at Ruben Onsu in CCTV

JAKARTA - Sarwendah spoke up about the CCTV footage showing her being angry at Ruben even while still married, which was dismantled by her ex-husband not long ago.

Sarwendah revealed the chronology of the incident which occurred on March 4, 2024. He said the dispute began from a difference of opinion regarding the efficiency of family finances.

Sarwendah revealed that at that time their house rental in Pondok Indah was almost over, she proposed that the family return to their old house in order to save costs. However, he actually found out that an apartment hotel had been rented for one month at a fantastic cost.

"At that time I was told that I had rented an apartment hotel for one month at a cost of around Rp. 120 million. In my opinion, this fund should be prioritized for the needs of children or houses," wrote Sarwendah on the @sarwendah29 account, quoted by VOI, Sunday, August 2.

The former Cherrybelle member admitted that he only asked for the transfer schedule to be postponed for a few days so that it coincided with the children's holiday period, and intended to take care of the transfer process himself through the marketing party. However, the request was rejected outright by Ruben Onsu.

The difference of opinion about the date of the move and the request for marketing contact apparently triggered a heated debate. Sarwendah said that the atmosphere became more tense when there was a provocative physical action.

"In the middle of the conversation, the atmosphere heated up. He slammed the door and the conversation turned into an argument," he said.

The incident became the culmination of Sarwendah's frustration. He emphasized that the great anger he showed in the circulating video was not merely due to the technical matter of moving house, but rather an accumulation of feelings that he had been holding back.

For Sarwendah, the moment was the point where her emotional defenses collapsed after trying to hold on in silence for so long during their marriage.

"That's where my emotions finally exploded. The anger seen in the video did not arise because of the issue of the date of the move alone, but rather the accumulation of many things that I have never really been able to convey in 11 years," concluded Sarwendah.
