Suzuki Fronx SGX Hybrid Kuro Launched at GIIAS, Tampilam Becomes More Masculine

JAKARTA - After officially launching the XL7 facelift, PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) officially presents the Suzuki Fronx SGX Hybrid Kuro, as the flagship variant, at the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026.

The presence of the Suzuki Fronx SGX Hybrid Kuro completes the choice for consumers who need additional security systems to support driving safety.

Deputy Managing Director of PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS), Donny Saputra, said the high market enthusiasm since Fronx was introduced in 2025 motivated the company to continue to innovate.

"Through the Fronx SGX Hybrid Kuro, we want to complement other options for consumers who want a more sporty SUV Coupe character while getting more complete safety technology to support daily mobility," he said in his remarks, Saturday, August 1.

As is known, the name Kuro means black in Japanese, representing the new visual identity on Suzuki's current top-of-the-line Fronx SGX line. The affirmation of the Kuro character is embodied through the implantation of the New Black Front Grille Garnish. The new touch is designed to emphasize the black color on the fascia as well as the overall appearance of the vehicle, resulting in a more masculine, aggressive and tough design line.

In addition to visual reinforcement on the exterior, Suzuki added a feature in the form of a Digital Video Recorder (DVR) to provide peace of mind while driving. This device is capable of recording the journey and events in front of the car in real time. If needed, the driver can easily access all the recordings through the application on the smartphone.

"People's mobility today requires vehicles that are not only comfortable and attractive in design, but also able to provide a sense of security in every journey. Therefore, we equip the Fronx SGX Hybrid Kuro with a DVR so that customers can get extra protection while driving," added Donny.

Suzuki Fronx SGX Hybrid Kuro is officially marketed in the Cool Black with Black Grille color option. As the top variant, the offered price is still competitive at IDR 333.8 million (OTR DKI Jakarta). Interested?
