Kadin hopes that the new BI Governor will later synergize with the business world.

Jakarta - Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) Anindya Bakrie hopes that the new Governor of the Bank of Indonesia can strengthen the synergy between the monetary authority, government, and the business world.

This was conveyed by Anindya Bakrie in response to the signal that the Interim Official (Pjs) of the BI Governor Destry Damayanti would be selected as the new Governor of the BI, at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, Friday, July 31.

According to Anindya, the business world considers the role of Bank Indonesia very important in maintaining the national investment and trade climate. He emphasized that Kadin respects whoever the President will choose as the Governor of Bank Indonesia.

Anindya added that the main factor that must continue to be maintained is the trust of business actors. According to him, trust is the main foundation for investment and trade growth.
