Pertamax Prices Decreased as of August 1, Here is the New Price List

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga conveyed a reduction in the price of Pertamax series fuel oil (BBM) in accordance with government regulations and directives while still taking into account the purchasing power of the community and supporting the availability of national fuel supply.

"The adjustment of the price of non-subsidized fuel is carried out in accordance with government regulations and directives by considering the development of world oil prices, the rupiah exchange rate, and still paying attention to people's purchasing power," said VP Corporate Communication Pertamina Patra Niaga Kitty Andhora as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, August 1.

This step, continued Kitty, is also part of efforts to maintain the availability of national fuel supplies so that they remain guaranteed for the public.

With this adjustment, the price of Pertamax Turbo decreased from Rp19,300 per liter to Rp18,300 per liter, then Pertamax Green 95 decreased from Rp17,000 per liter to Rp16,600 per liter, and Pertamax (RON 92) decreased from Rp16,250 per liter to Rp15,950 per liter.

Meanwhile, Pertamina Dex remains at Rp21,150 per liter and Dexlite remains at Rp19,700 per liter.

The price is valid for areas with Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax (PBBKB) of 5 percent, such as DKI Jakarta.

"Pertamina Patra Niaga is also committed to continue providing quality energy, maintaining supply reliability, and providing the best service to the community throughout Indonesia," said Kitty.

The decrease in the price of Pertamax and Pertamax Green fuel types occurred for the first time since Pertamax and Pertamax Green experienced an increase on June 10, 2026, several months after the government held back the soaring fuel prices due to the war between the United States (US)-Israel and Iran.
