The Directorate General of PAS DKI denies that Nikita Mirzani was intimidated at the Pondok Bambu Detention Center
JAKARTA - The Office of the Regional Directorate General of Corrections (Kanwil Ditjenpas) DKI Jakarta denied that there was intimidation against celebrity Nikita Mirzani during an examination at the State Detention House (Rutan) Pondok Bambu, East Jakarta.
"There is no intimidation of the person concerned NM (Nikita Mirzani) who is currently undergoing a period of detention at the Pondok Bambu Detention Center," said Head of Care, Security, and Internal Compliance of the DKI Jakarta Regional Office of the Indonesian National Police, Edi Sigit Budiman, as reported by ANTARA, Friday, July 31.
Sigit said Nikita Mirzani did not use a cell phone as had been circulating on social media and mass media.
The alleged intimidation that Nikita Mirzani said she received, he said, began when her party received a report that the woman who was known for being sensual appeared in the news that she could use a mobile phone freely even while in detention.
"From the report we formed a team of investigators and conducted an inspection on July 30, around seven o'clock in the evening. We raided the Pondok Bambu Detention Center, and from the raid, we did not find things that were prohibited by the detention center or prison, especially illegal communication tools," explained Sigit.
After conducting a raid, his party conducted an examination of Nikita Mirzani to clarify or confirm the news on social media regarding his tweet.
From the examination, it was found that during the reporting of the tweets on his social media, he conveyed a message to his admin.
"The information we obtained from Nikita Mirjani commenting on social media from the social media admin owned and delivered through legal communication tools wartelsuspas (special prison phone stall)," he said.
During the examination, everything was done according to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and it was ensured that everything went without intimidation as what has been circulating.
"So, it's impossible for us to intimidate the person concerned regarding the use of communication tools," said Sigit.
Until now, Nikita Mirzani has also been one of the ambassadors for the telecommunications service for inmates (Wartelsuspas) at the Pondok Bambu Prison. In fact, his face has also appeared on social media to publicize the service.
"He himself is an ambassador for the Wartelsuspas service, which is a community telecommunications stall. So a legal communication tool, which is officially used by inmates to communicate with family or relatives rather than the inmates concerned," explained Sigit.
Previously, celebrity Nikita Mirzani admitted that he was intimidated after criticizing the alleged corruption that dragged former Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Febrie Adriansyah.
Nikita, who is currently being held at the Pondok Bambu Detention Center, Jakarta, is said to have been visited by a number of parties after making a sarcastic comment against Febrie Adriansyah on his Instagram account. It is known that Nikita Mirzani's Instagram account is currently managed by an admin.
However, through this phone call, Nikita Mirzani often gives directions to the admin to upload something on his Instagram, including about the corruption case that dragged Febrie Adriansyah.
