The Permitting Process is Getting Easier, Ade Suherman Encourages the Improvement of PTSP Services

JAKARTA - Member of Commission B of the DKI Jakarta Provincial DPRD from the PKS Faction, Ade Suherman, encourages the DKI Jakarta Investment and One-Stop Service Agency (DPMPTSP) to continue to improve the quality of licensing services so that the public can get an easier, transparent, and certain process.

This was conveyed by Ade in a meeting of Commission B of the DKI Jakarta DPRD with the DPMPTSP. On this occasion, Ade conveyed a number of inputs received from the public regarding experiences in the licensing process.

According to Ade, public complaints need to be seen as a material for evaluation to improve the service system, especially in providing clear information regarding the requirements, stages, and licensing completion process.

"I think the input from the community is important for us to make it a material for joint evaluation. Not merely looking for who is wrong, but how PTSP services in the future can be better, easier, and provide certainty to the community."

Ade assessed that one of the things that needed to be strengthened was the delivery of information regarding administrative requirements from the beginning of the application process. With complete and easy-to-understand information, the public can prepare the required documents so that the service process can run more effectively.

He also encouraged the coordination between PTSP and technical regional devices to continue to be strengthened, especially when the licensing process requires verification or field visits.

"If there is indeed a field verification process or certain requirements that must be met, I hope that the information can be conveyed clearly from the beginning. Inter-agency coordination must also be better, so that the public does not have to go back and forth and the process can be more efficient."

According to Ade, this improvement is increasingly important in line with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government's efforts to improve the quality of digital-based public services. The digital system is expected not only to make it easier for the public to apply, but also to provide clear information regarding the status of the application, documents that must be completed, and the stages that are underway.

"Digitalization of services must provide ease and certainty. People just need to open the system to find out the status of their application, what needs to be completed, and what the next step is. This will reduce confusion while increasing public confidence in government services."

Ade emphasized that licensing services have an important position in supporting the activities of the community, business world, educational institutions, and various economic activities in Jakarta.

Therefore, he hopes that DPMPTSP will continue to evaluate various public input and strengthen the service standard so that the licensing process is simpler without reducing the aspects of accuracy and compliance with rules.

"We want PTSP to be a service door that provides solutions. Of course all the requirements in accordance with the rules must be met, but the process must be made as clear and simple as possible for the public. Don't let the public have trouble just because the information or coordination is not optimal. "

Ade said that the DPRD through its oversight function will continue to encourage the improvement of the quality of public services in Jakarta. According to him, fast, clear, transparent, and reliable services are an important part of efforts to build a government that is increasingly responsive to the needs of citizens.

"I appreciate the work of PTSP and hope that the input from the community can become energy to continue to improve. The measure of the success of the service is not only how many permits are issued, but also how easy it is for the community to get the service and how well the government provides certainty to them."
