Melesat 15.48 Percent, PGEO Net Profit Reaches IDR 1.4 Trillion

PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO) recorded a 15.48 percent increase in net profit in the second quarter of 2026 to US$79.607 million or Rp1.4 trillion.

PGE's Finance Director, Fransetya Hasudungan Hutabarat, said the increase in profit was supported by the growth in production and operational reliability of the Geothermal Power Plant (PLTP) as well as the positive exchange rate difference.

"Until the first semester of 2026, the total production of PGE reached 2,745 GWh, an increase of 13.62 percent compared to the same period last year of 2,416 GWh," he said in a statement to the media, Friday, July 31.

PGEO also closed the second quarter of 2026 with revenue of US$235.027 million or grew 14.7 percent year on year (yoy) compared to US$204.850 million in the second quarter of 2025.

PGE's performance also showed an acceleration trend in the second quarter of 2026, with the net profit of the first quarter of 2026 recorded at US$43.899 million, which then grew significantly to reach an accumulation of US$79.607 million at the end of the second quarter of 2026.

In terms of capital, the company's equity was recorded at US$2.006 billion in the second quarter of 2026, reflecting a healthy financial foundation with strong ability to meet obligations while generating profits.

On the other hand, the company's liabilities actually decreased by 2.80 percent compared to December 31, 2025 to US$961.184 million, a decrease that has a positive impact on strengthening the capital structure and reducing the company's financial risk.
