Land Assets to Dozens of Apartments Napi Benny Tjokro Laku Sold Rp129.15 Billion
JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office Asset Recovery Agency (BPA) said that the assets of convicted Benny Tjokrosaputro in the form of 24 plots of land and 16 apartment units were sold for Rp. 129.15 billion through an auction.
The Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) of the Attorney General's Office, Anang Supriatna, explained that 16 units of South Hills Apartment in South Jakarta were sold for Rp. 38.32 billion or higher than Rp. 620 million compared to the limit value that had been set.
Meanwhile, for the other 74 units of apartments that have not been sold, they will be auctioned again.
Meanwhile, the value of 24 land plots was sold for Rp90.82 billion or increased by Rp31 billion compared to the limit value that had been set.
Meanwhile, for 16 land areas that have not been sold, they will be auctioned again.
Thus, the auction results for the two types of assets reached around IDR 129.15 billion.
"The auction results show the success of BPA in optimizing the settlement of assets from criminal acts to support the recovery of state losses," said Anang as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, July 31.
Previously, the Attorney General's Office BPA announced the auction of 90 units of South Hills Apartment, South Jakarta.
Benny Tjokrosaput is a convict in the corruption case in the management of the finances and investment funds of PT Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) for the period 2008-2018.
In handling the case, the Kejaksaan investigators seized 93 units of apartments in South Hills Kuningan, South Jakarta.
