West Java Police Lower Joint Team to Investigate the Death of a Security Guard in Jatiluhur

BANDUNG - The West Java Regional Police has deployed a joint team to accelerate the disclosure of the case of the death of a security guard named Sumarna (40) at Jatiluhur Dam, Purwakarta Regency.

West Java Police Chief Inspector General Pipit Rismanto said investigators are currently still investigating the case through a series of investigations and examinations of a number of findings in the field.

"This will certainly be our evaluation, but we will send a joint team to back up the Purwakarta Police so that hopefully this will be revealed quickly. Please pray for his rest," said Pipit as reported by ANTARA, Jmat, July 31.

According to the Police Chief, the Directorate of Criminal Investigation of the West Java Police has been ordered to conduct a trial on the results of the interim investigation obtained from the crime scene (TKP).

"Yes, in Purwakarta this is in the process. We have ordered our ranks, this is also Pak Direskrimum, the investigators have been summoned to conduct a title of the results of the interim investigation starting from the crime scene," said Pipit.

The Police Chief explained that the results of the case would be the basis for the investigators to determine the next steps in the investigation process.

Pipit also appealed to the public not to easily believe unverified information related to the case because it could cause misunderstanding among the public.

He asked the public to give room for investigators to work professionally in uncovering the cause of the victim's death.

"Let our team go down to the field to uncover it as best as possible," he said.

Regarding the alleged injuries to the victim's body, Kapoldamengatakan investigators are still investigating the findings.

However, based on the results of the interim examination, the victim is suspected of dying before his body was in the reservoir waters.

"Yes, it is suspected that there were injuries due to the impact of a hard object, or died before being thrown into the water," said Pipit.
