For Rp688 Million, Here are the Specifications of the Jetour T2 i-DM PHEV SUV
JAKARTA - Jetour presents the Jetour T2 i-DM as a plug-in hybrid SUV (PHEV) at the GIIAS 2026. This car is claimed to combine performance, energy efficiency, and the ability to travel more than 1,200 kilometers in one full battery charge and fuel tank.
Carrying Intelligent Dual Mode (i-DM) technology, the Jetour T2 i-DM allows drivers to utilize electric power for daily activities. Meanwhile, the gasoline engine will work automatically when needed, so that long-distance travel can be done without worry.
"For Jetour, plug-in hybrid technology is not just about combining two power sources, but how the entire system is able to work harmoniously to provide a driving experience that is relevant to consumer needs," said Marketing Director of PT Jetour Sales Indonesia Moch Ranggy Radiansyah in a discussion event at ICE BSD, Thursday, July 30.
"Intelligent Dual Mode was developed to provide a balance between efficiency, performance, comfort, and flexibility, so that consumers can enjoy every trip with more confidence," he added.
In terms of the engine, the Jetour T2 i-DM relies on the fifth-generation ACTECO 1.5 TGDI Hybrid Dedicated Engine, which produces 136 PS of power and 220 Nm of torque, with a thermal efficiency of 44.5 percent. The engine is combined with a 3-Speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (3DHT) and dual electric motors that produce a combined power of 224 PS and 390 Nm of torque.
The energy is stored in a 18.4 kWh capacity LFP CATL battery that also supports DC Fast Charging from 30 to 80 percent in about 27 minutes. The combination allows this SUV to cover a distance of more than 1,200 kilometers without stopping often to charge or fuel.
The dual electric motor system on the Jetour T2 i-DM is also designed to work adaptively according to driving conditions. When facing a hill or carrying heavier loads, the power distribution will be optimized so that the vehicle remains powered and stable. At the same time, the system also regulates the use and regeneration of energy to maintain efficiency without sacrificing performance.
Apart from performance, safety aspects are the main focus in the development of this vehicle. Jetour equips the T2 i-DM with an IP68 certified CATL LFP battery that is claimed to be able to survive when submerged in water up to a depth of one meter for 48 hours, and resistant to pressure up to 10 tons.
The High Voltage Cut-Off system is also embedded to cut off the electric current in just two milliseconds when an emergency occurs. This protection is strengthened by the Hardtop Cage Body Monocoque structure which uses 80 percent high-strength steel, including 1,500 MPa high-strength hot formed steel material.
This structure produces a level of torsional rigidity of up to 32,000 Nm/deg, thus improving stability and protection for drivers and passengers. Jetour also embeds various active safety technologies, such as the fifth generation Bosch radar which is capable of detecting objects up to 210 meters and the third generation Bosch QHD+ resolution camera which can recognize vehicles up to 150 meters and pedestrians up to 70 meters.
All of these data are the basis for the work of 15 ADAS Level 2 features. Cabin protection is also supported by six airbags spread across various points of the vehicle. Entering the cabin, the Jetour T2 i-DM is equipped with a 15.6-inch touchscreen powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chipset, combined with a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel.
Its entertainment and connectivity features include Wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and 4-Zone Voice Control. Passenger comfort is also supported by a 12-speaker Sony premium audio system, 64-color ambient light, panoramic sunroof, and cabin cooling features that can still work for 24 hours when the vehicle is parked.
His adventurous character is strengthened by a roof rack that can withstand a load of up to 150 kg when the car is running and 300 kg when it is stationary. In addition, there is a Wading Radar with the ability to cross puddles up to 700 mm, 20-inch Highway Terrain tires, a 70-liter fuel tank, and a "backpack" design in the back that is a storage place for serep tires.
Jetour claims that the T2 i-DM is the only PHEV SUV in Indonesia that offers this configuration. This car is also equipped with a spacious trunk, 3.3 kW Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) feature, and supports charging via DC Fast Charging, AC Charging, and Portable AC Charger.
To provide a sense of security during the ownership period, Jetour presents the Fearless Adventure program for Jetour T2 i-DM buyers marketed at a price of IDR 688 million. As conveyed by Sales Director of PT Jetour Sales Indonesia, Michael Budihardja.
"We believe that the ownership experience is one of the main factors in building consumer confidence in a brand.
