US Patriot Missile Stock Reportedly Significantly Reduced

JAKARTA - The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) think tank reported that the United States found that its air defense missile supply had significantly decreased.

Based on calculations made by CSIS, the period between February 27 and July 27, the US is said to have used between 1,503 and 1,571 Patriot missiles and between 174 and 218 THAAD interceptors.

Meanwhile, on February 27, the United States reportedly had 2,330 Patriot missiles and 452 THAAD interceptors.

Then on July 27, the stock was reduced to 759-827 and 234-278 missiles, respectively.

The report comes amid a call by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for the United States to immediately supply Ukraine with 300 Patriot missiles before winter arrives.
