Bank Mandiri Reveals It Has Disbursed KUR Reaching Rp21.41 Trillion until Semester I-2026
JAKARTA - PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) recorded the realization of the distribution of People's Business Loans (KUR) of IDR 21.41 trillion as of June 30, 2026, or 52.21 percent of the annual target of IDR 41 trillion, with maintained credit quality.
This distribution reaches more than 162 thousand micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) throughout Indonesia, as well as emphasizing its role as a strategic partner of the government in encouraging the people's economy.
Bank Mandiri's Consumer Banking Director Saptari said the realization of this KUR is a form of strengthening the ecosystem that drives the country's economy.
"We want MSMEs to feel ease, both in terms of access to financing and assistance so that their businesses can be upgraded. This is also our role as long-term business partners," he said in an official statement, Thursday, July 30.
Saptari detailed that the distribution of KUR was dominated by the production sector at 63.92 percent or equivalent to Rp. 13.68 trillion, while the non-production sector absorbed 36.08 percent or Rp. 7.72 trillion, the agricultural sector was the largest contributor with a share of 33.08 percent, followed by production services 21.75 percent.
Meanwhile, expanding the customer base is also an important achievement in this period, namely by the end of June 2026, the realization of KUR to new debtors reached 116 thousand debtors or 52.51 percent of the target of 220,000 new debtors throughout 2026.
He added that this coverage indicates an accelerating growth in reaching business actors who have not previously been touched by formal financing, while expanding the productive economy in various regions.
Apart from MSMEs, Bank Mandiri also supports government priority programs, including the 3 Million House Program, which until June 2026, the company has channeled demand-side Housing Program Loans (KPP) worth Rp839.99 billion to 3,167 debtors.
"This facility targets UMKM actors who need financing for the purchase, construction, or renovation of houses to support their business," he explained.
In cumulative terms, since 2008 until June 30, 2026, Bank Mandiri has disbursed KUR of IDR 324.65 trillion to 3.75 million debtors throughout Indonesia.
According to him, this consistency strengthens Bank Mandiri's position as one of the largest KUR distributors that continue to support the equalization of access to productive financing.
Saptari said that to maintain the momentum of growth, Bank Mandiri continues to strengthen its ecosystem-based financing strategy with a closed-loop approach that connects MSMEs with business actors along the value chain, from suppliers, distributors, aggregators to off-takers.
"Through the synergy of these services, it is expected that the distribution of financing will be more targeted and able to increase the competitiveness of business actors sustainably," he explained.
Saptari said that as part of the Danantara ecosystem, Bank Mandiri also strengthened the BUMN business model, which is increasingly adaptive and collaborative in supporting the national economy.
In the future, he said, the company will continue to expand access to productive financing through its service network, digital channels, and strengthening financial literacy so that more MSMEs will be upgraded, with the spirit of Serving with All Our Hearts as a foundation for providing inclusive and impactful financial solutions.
"This increasingly close collaboration with the government and all stakeholders will accelerate the strengthening of the national productive sector. Bank Mandiri is committed to providing healthy financing and having a real impact on the community, in line with our efforts to become an ecosystem that drives the country's economy," he said.
