Uncle Birin Wins In The Temporary Count Of The South Kalimantan Gubernatorial Election PSU, KPU Office Floods Wreaths

"Since the last few days, bouquets of flowers have been arriving, we thank all those who sent them," said South Kalimantan KPU chairman Sarmuji in Banjarmasin as reported by Antara, Sunday, June 13.
Based on observations, there were dozens of wreaths conveying messages of gratitude to the KPU for their successful work in organizing the PSU smoothly, safely and peacefully and on the principles of being honest and fair.
Similar remarks were also made to the Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) because of its role in supervising the PSU without violating election crimes and so on.
Wreaths of flowers on behalf of several important officials in government agencies were also seen. Among them, the Acting (Pj) Governor of South Kalimantan Safrizal and the Regional Secretary of South Kalimantan Roy Rizali Anwar to the religious figure Habib Fathurahman Bahasyim from the Al Mahabbah Dome Basirih Assembly Banjarmasin.
Sarmuji emphasized that his party had worked professionally for the implementation of the PSU for the South Kalimantan gubernatorial election in a democratic and transparent manner based on the principles of being honest, fair, direct, public, free and confidential.
If later there are parties who object to the results of the PSU, the KPU is ready to face their lawsuits armed with what has been done in the field from each level of the election in stages.
"Currently, we are still in the process of finalizing the recapitulation of the vote count at the sub-district level. Hopefully everything will run smoothly and the results of the 2020 South Kalimantan Pilkada after the PSU can be announced soon," he said.
To note, the Cagub of South Kalimantan (Kalsel) Sahbirin Noor or familiarly called Uncle Birin won in the KPU's preliminary count from his competitor, Denny Indrayana.

Uncle Birin emphasized that he was still waiting for the official decision and determination of the South Kalimantan KPU. According to him, Pilkada is not a win or lose match but the people's mandate.
