JAKARTA - PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (KTB) expands its business vehicle line by launching the Mitsubishi Fuso Canter Extra Long Bus at the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026. The presence of this latest model is aimed at meeting the needs of the passenger transportation sector, especially the tourism industry which continues to grow in Indonesia.

The launch is part of Mitsubishi Fuso's strategy in responding to the increasing mobility of the community, the growth of the national tourism sector, and the development of road infrastructure that increasingly connects various regions in the country.

"The experience of being the number one truck in Indonesia for 56 years proves Mitsubishi Fuso's commitment to providing transportation solutions that meet the needs of various sectors, including the tourism and passenger transportation industries," said Sales and Marketing Director of PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors Aji Jaya, at ICE BSD, Wednesday, July 29.

"The Canter Extra Long Bus is specifically designed for passenger transportation by combining optimal performance, capacity, comfort, and agility in various road conditions," he added.

The Canter Extra Long Bus is built using the Mitsubishi Fuso Canter FE 84 G BCL chassis which is in the light duty truck segment. This vehicle has a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of 8 tons and can carry up to 31 passengers.

One of the main advantages of this model is the more spacious cabin dimensions. The bus carries a wheelbase of 4.2 meters with a rear overhang (ROH) of 2.1 meters, thus offering a wider cabin space compared to the standard variant.

"This variant is also designed with a wheel-base length of 4.2 meters, which will provide greater capacity to support passenger transportation needs," said Aji.

Even though it has a total length of around 7.5 meters, the Canter Extra Long Bus still offers agility when maneuvering. Its turning radius reaches 7.4 meters, making it easier for drivers to pass through narrow roads and parking areas at tourist destinations.

"The extra long bus canter is designed to support the passenger transportation business and combine optimal performance, capacity, and safety," he said.

For performance, this vehicle is equipped with a 136 PS engine that has proven to be reliable. The engine is also compatible with B50 biodiesel fuel and is combined with a transmission that has a Final Gear Ratio of 5.428 to support efficiency and performance in various operational conditions.

Mitsubishi Fuso markets the Canter Extra Long Bus with a starting price of Rp. 469.3 million off the road for the Jabodetabek area in the form of a chassis. For your information, this price does not include bodywork costs.

To support after-sales services, Mitsubishi Fuso relies on 223 official dealer networks spread across various regions of Indonesia. In addition, there are 19 24-hour standby workshops to support repair services, as well as 22 spare parts depots that ensure the availability of original components for customers.
