for Revenge Fill the Spider-Man: Brand New Day Soundtrack with the Song "I Miss You Every Brand New Day"

JAKARTA - Bandung-based emo-pop band, for Revenge, is back on the music scene with the release of a single titled I Miss You Every Brand New Day.

This song was introduced as the soundtrack for the superhero film from Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures, Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

This international collaboration came about after Sony Music Indonesia and Sony Pictures saw a strong emotional alignment between the discography of Revenge and the dynamics of conflict in the latest Spider-Man film.

The vocalist for Revenge, Moch Boniex Nurwega, said that this involvement was not just a career achievement, but also a very deep artistic challenge.

If they usually produce a series of lyrics based on personal heartbreak experiences, this time they are required to delve into the sense of loss experienced by the character Peter Parker.

"For us, this is an honor. I never imagined that Revenge would be given the opportunity to write a work based on one of the world's largest film franchises," Boniex said in a statement, Wednesday, July 29.

He added, the role as a comic fan makes the process of diving into Peter Parker's emotions feel even more special.

"Usually we make works based on what we experience. This time it has to be fused with what Peter Parker feels in the film. As a Spider-Man fanboy, once again, this is a pride, to dig into the emotional side of Peter Parker," added the vocalist.

In the making of the song "I Miss You Every Brand New Day", for Revenge blends their emo musical characteristics with a more majestic and cinematic arrangement.

Not alone, this song also invited Cynantia Pratita as a guest vocalist, Kamga as a vocal director, and a choir touch from Gege Gumilar, Mulia Aprianto, Nadine Arlyanaza, and Luginia Raftiane.

"I Miss You Every Brand New Day" was launched on all digital music player platforms starting at the end of July, welcoming the simultaneous screening of Spider-Man: Brand New Day in cinemas around the world.

The lyrics voice themes of longing, the pain of loss, and the hard work of rising to a new day.
