This growth was mainly driven by the processing industry sector which jumped to 37.09 percent as well as an increase in investment or Gross Fixed Capital Formation (PMTB) of 17.57 percent.

This achievement is a continuation of the 2025 record, in which North Maluku recorded the highest economic growth in Indonesia which reached 34.17 percent, with the Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB) on the basis of applicable prices of Rp. 133.6 trillion and per capita GDP of around Rp. 97 million. "North Maluku is the locomotive of national economic growth. Seeing the high economic growth rate, continued Nixon, BTN considers that the needs of the community and the government for financial services have shifted. BTN is present not only as a fund storage institution, but also as a development partner ready to help the digitization of government finances, support public services, and strengthen the regional economic ecosystem.

On this occasion, Nixon expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the trust of the North Maluku Provincial Government which had placed funds in BTN. This fundamental trust is a strong foundation for expanding cooperation in the future.

As a tangible manifestation of Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) to the people in North Maluku, BTN symbolically handed over the assistance allocated for the construction of 32 units of Liveable Houses in the Sidangoli area, South Jailolo District, West Halmahera Regency (Domato area). BTN believes that a house has a deep meaning - not just a physical building, but a space where families grow, where children learn, and the foundation for the birth of future generations.

The Governor of North Maluku, Sherly Tjoanda, welcomed and gave the highest appreciation to the President Director of BTN and his staff for the TJSL assistance. According to the Governor, a safe and habitable home is the most essential foundation in building a strong nation civilization, starting from the smallest social unit, namely the family.

"So that children can live in a safe, peaceful living space, grow with good education, and form a superior future generation. A healthy, prosperous, strong, and dignified family will form a strong village, a strong district, a strong province, and a strong country," said Governor Sherly Tjoanda.

The Governor added that a house is not just a shelter, but the main living space where all the initial character development process takes place. In a safe house, children can rest peacefully and prepare for a good education tomorrow, while parents can foster family harmony.

"All harmonization, initial development, first education, etiquette, and all life values are instilled from home. Therefore, I give the highest appreciation to the President Director of BTN and the upper management for the assistance of TJSL," he said.
