Danantara Will Be Involved in the KSSK Decision, Rosan: This is the First Time

BPI Danantara will be involved in every decision-making of the Financial System Stability Committee (KSSK). The involvement of the state investment management agency is said to be a new step to expand policy considerations beyond fiscal and monetary instruments.

The Minister of Investment and Industrialization/Head of BKPM and Head of BPI Danantara Rosan Roeslani said the direction emerged in coordination with the interim Governor of the Bank of Indonesia.

"The KSSK is asked to involve Danantara in every decision-making process so that it has a direct impact on the economy and the business world, not only from a fiscal and monetary perspective," said Rosan at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, Monday (27/7/2026).

According to Rosan, the involvement of Danantara is intended so that the KSSK decision considers the entire economic ecosystem. He called this pattern "KSSK plus Danantara".

The KSSK is a coordination forum tasked with monitoring and maintaining the stability of the financial system as well as handling financial crises. Its members consist of the Minister of Finance, the Governor of BI, the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority, and the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Deposit Insurance Agency.

Rosan confirmed that Danantara would later attend the KSSK meeting. When asked whether the involvement would take place in a regular monthly meeting, he said that it was in accordance with the instructions received.

"Yes, that was the direction," he said.

He also ensured that Danantara's involvement in the KSSK process was only carried out this time. However, Rosan did not explain the form of Danantara's authority, including whether the institution only provided input or participated in making decisions.

Rosan emphasized that Danantara was not involved in the submission of the definitive BI Governor candidate. The determination of the name of the candidate is entirely the authority of the President.
