Maintaining Body Fitness with Fun Sports
JAKARTA - Maintaining body health does not always have to be done with heavy exercise. Walking, jogging, or participating in running activities together is a fun way to stay active and build healthy living habits.
In addition to being beneficial for fitness, exercise together is also an opportunity to socialize and strengthen relationships with others. Activities done together make exercise feel more fun and encourage someone to be more regular.
This was seen in the running and walking activities in the Eastvara Mall BSD area, Tangerang, on Sunday, July 26, 2026. A total of 3,700 participants from various regions in Indonesia participated in the activity which was part of the celebration of the 118th Anniversary of the Indonesian Notary Association (INI).
Carrying the theme "One Dedication, One Million Trust, 118 Years of INI for Golden Indonesia", the event presents a choice of 10K, 5K, and Fun Walk 2.5K runs. Participants can choose activities according to their ability and physical condition.
The Chairperson of the 2026 Notary Committee, Diah Sukma Permata Riani, S.H., said the enthusiasm of this year's participants showed the great spirit of togetherness in the Indonesian Notary Association.
"Alhamdulillah, the participants of Notarace 2026 reached around 3,700 people and came from all over Indonesia. This shows the extraordinary spirit of togetherness in the Indonesian Notary Association environment. Our hope, through this 118th anniversary, notaries throughout Indonesia will be more united and more compact," said Diah, quoted from the official statement.
Exercising regularly is one way to maintain fitness. Physical activity helps the body stay active, maintain muscle strength, and support heart health. Exercise also doesn't always have to be done alone.
The General Chair of the Indonesian Notary Association, Dr. H. Irfan Ardiansyah, S.H., Sp.N., LL.M., said Notarace was a tangible manifestation of the organization's commitment to building solidarity and encouraging a healthy lifestyle among notaries.
"Notarace is the second implementation held by the Indonesian Notary Association. Through this activity, we want to show that notaries are not only present as servants of the community, but also have a spirit of togetherness and concern for health," said Irfan.
Irfan said that about 70 percent of the total participants were notaries. The presence of participants from various regions, including outside Java, is a strong proof of solidarity among members.
"We want to convey to the public that the notary is close and open. In addition to carrying out the duties of the profession, we also want to ensure that notaries can carry out their service in healthy and optimal conditions," he added.
In terms of lifestyle, maintaining health can start with simple habits. For example, walking regularly, using the stairs if possible, or stretching in between daily activities.
The most important thing is to choose an activity that suits your body condition and do it consistently. For beginners, walking or following the Fun Walk can be a starting step before increasing the intensity of exercise.
Before being active, it is important to pay attention to the condition of the body. Warming up, meeting fluid needs, using comfortable sports equipment, and resting after exercising help physical activity to be carried out more safely and comfortably.
The activity is also equipped with various activities in the race village area, such as INI Cheering, music concerts, talkshows, workout sessions, fun games & challenges, and a bazaar that participants can enjoy with their families.
In addition to sports, participants and visitors can also obtain information and access a number of public services related to General Legal Administration (AHU), the establishment of Individual Companies, to licensing services through the Business Registration Number (NIB).
Deputy Regent of Tangerang Regency, Intan Nurul Hikmah, also appreciated the implementation of this activity which was considered to have a positive impact on the community and the local economy.
"I see this event is very interesting and its impact is very wide. In addition to involving the community, participants from all over Indonesia are also present and provide benefits for the tourism and hospitality sectors in Tangerang Regency," he said.
According to Intan, the Tangerang Regency Government also provided support in the implementation of activities, ranging from coordination with the authorities to facilitating permits.
"We hope that activities like this can continue to be carried out every year. Hopefully, the Indonesian Notary Association will be more successful and continue to accompany the government in various positive things," he said.
Joint sports activities show that maintaining health can be done while building togetherness. Sports can also be a space to meet others and expand social interactions.
For participants from the notary and Extraordinary Member (ALB) who complete the competition according to the category they are participating in, the Indonesian Notary Association also provides appreciation in the form of six notary points according to the applicable provisions and mechanisms on the official organization portal.
The series of the 118th Anniversary of the Indonesian Notary Association was also filled with various social and educational activities, such as blood donation, social service in the form of mass circumcision in Tegal, seminars and scientific activities, and the Mars Clip Video Competition of the Indonesian Notary Association which was attended by Regional Managers from across Indonesia.
The presence of Alya Rohali as an artist in this activity also provides an insight into the importance of maintaining a balance between work and health.
"I am very happy to participate in Notarace 2026. The weather is supportive, the route is comfortable, and the event is very exciting. Activities like this make notaries not only focus on seminars or work, but also get used to living a healthy life," said Alya.
Alya hopes that Notarace can continue to be a space that strengthens the solidarity of notaries throughout Indonesia.
"Hopefully the Indonesian Notary Association will be more compact and continue to progress for the benefit of all notaries in Indonesia. Hopefully Notarace will continue to be a platform that prioritizes togetherness and provides wider benefits for the community," he concluded.
Maintaining health does not have to start with big changes. Simple habits such as regular movement, walking, exercise, maintaining a diet, and getting enough rest can be the first step to living a healthier lifestyle.
Choosing fun activities can also help someone maintain these habits in the long term. When done with family, friends, or the community, exercise can be an activity that keeps the body active while also strengthening relationships with those around.
Through joint sports activities, the public can see that a healthy life can be done in a fun, simple, and appropriate way for each person.
