DKI DPRD Requests Evaluation of 2027 Collection Target, Investigates Rusun Arrears

JAKARA - Commission C of the DKI Jakarta DPRD has asked a number of Regional Working Units (SKPD) to re-evaluate the revenue target in the draft KUA-PPAS APBD DKI Jakarta Province 2027. The Council considers that the target set must be realistic and in accordance with the capabilities of each sector.

Chairman of Commission C of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Dimaz Raditya, said that evaluation was needed so that the target of the levy was not merely a number in the budget document, but could actually be achieved by the related SKPD.

"It should still be possible to evaluate. We will return it to the collection SKPD," said Dimaz, quoted on Monday, July 27.

According to Dimaz, Commission C will discuss the target for the collection of levies with the collection SKPD. In the discussion, each local government must be able to explain the basis for setting the target, whether it is an increase, decrease, or maintain the same number.

Apart from the issue of the collection target, Commission C also highlighted the management of apartment buildings (rusun), especially regarding the arrears of payment and the mechanism for imposing fines and interest.

Dimaz said that the problem could not be immediately changed because it was still related to the applicable rules. Changes to the mechanism for imposing fines and removing arrears must wait for regulations that are the basis of the law.

"We will wait. After the legal rules are issued, we can only lower the target for retribution in the housing and apartment sector," said Dimaz.

Commission C previously gave recommendations to the SKPD regarding the settlement of the management of the Rusun to be resolved in accordance with the provisions. Adjustments to the target for the housing sector will also be made after the new rules are issued.
