Celebrate National Children's Day, Lemonilo Presents Cross-Sector Collaboration to Help Ciliwung Children
JAKARTA - As a successor to the generation, National Children's Day is always celebrated on July 23. The collaboration between the Lemonilo brand, the Gumul Juang Community, and the Ministry of Social Affairs and Politics (KemenPPA) has become an inspiration for children in Ciliwung.
Sunday, July 26, Lemonilo carried out a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program in collaboration with the Gumul Juang Community in Ciliwung, East Jakarta. This program is one of the annual programs that are expected to continue to grow and be assisted by various parties.
"I am very inspired by the Gumul Community (KGJ) and Kak Daniel (founder of KGJ). Because they have been taking care of 97 children since 2010 until now, but most of them are still working, and they are still trying to teach children on weekends," said Shinta Nurfauzia as Co-CEO of Lemonilo at Ciliwung, East Jakarta, Sunday, July 26.
"In the future, I hope it will be better with the help. Not just Lemonilo, right, from the KPP, from Ms. Minister, they all want to provide assistance. So it has to be seen in the future not just once, but how to make it better for children, especially," he continued.
With the main tagline "Towards a Great Generation", Lemonilo's collaboration also featured Veronica Tan as Deputy Minister for the Empowerment of Women and Child Protection of the Republic of Indonesia.
"We are definitely not alone, that's why every time we make events like this, we also invite others so that more people can help. If we do it, it will definitely not be as much as it is if there are more people to help. I personally am happy to see that when we come to the community, it turns out that the community is self-sufficient and then there is a lot of help from other parties," he continued.
Daniel as the founder of the Gumul Juang Community explained, "We are very grateful for the presence of Lemonilo, with the attention it has given. Lemonilo can bridge the Gumul Juang Community to be seen by the government, all its needs. We are very grateful on this Children's Day we got a "sweet gift" from Lemonilo. "
The children from the Gumul Juang Community, which is located in Ciliwung, received several gifts ranging from food packages to study laptops and televisions. The gifts given are expected to develop the exploration of children who are exposed to information and want to continue to learn.
