JAKARTA - Jon Bon Jovi was forced to stop his concert at Madison Square Garden (MSG), New York City, United States, earlier than scheduled.

The 64-year-old singer suddenly ended his performance after performing for 90 minutes due to a sinus infection he had.

In the eighth night of the nine-concert series of Bon Jovi's MSG residency - which is part of the global tour of Forever - the sudden moment of the concert stopped thousands of fans who attended the arena.

While on stage, the vocalist immediately apologized and asked the audience to keep their tickets as proof of the delay.

"Don't throw away your ticket stubs, I'll find a solution, okay? Just keep it, we'll think of a way to reschedule the concert," Jon Bon Jovi told the audience, quoted by NME, Sunday, July 26.

After giving an explanation, Jon hugged his band members and gave a thumbs up to the audience who continued to support him as he walked off the stage.

Bon Jovi's official representative also confirmed the incident.

They confirmed that the singer's health condition was the main reason for the cancellation of the concert.

"Jon Bon Jovi spoke from the stage and told fans that he was fighting a sinus infection that caused the concert to end early," the band's representative said.

"As part of Bon Jovi's residency at Madison Square Garden, Jon has repeatedly said that returning to performing live is a joy for the band. The latest information will be available soon," he added.
