45 Red and White Village Cooperatives in Blora Officially Operate

BLORA - A total of 45 Red and White Village Cooperatives (KDMP) in Blora Regency, Central Java, officially carry out business activities after completing all legal requirements, ranging from Business Registration Number (NIB), Tax Identification Number (NPWP), to having a Decree (SK) from the Ministry of Law.

"A total of 45 KDMP, which are operating, are spread across 12 sub-districts, while in four sub-districts, such as Japah, Jati, Kunduran, and Kradenan, there are no KDMP operating," said the Head of the Trade, Cooperatives, and SMEs Office of Blora Regency, Kiswoyo in Blora, Central Java, Saturday.

Kiswoyo explained that each KDMP runs a business that is adjusted to the potential and needs of its region. Of the total cooperatives that have been operating, as many as 30 KDMP are cooperating with Agrinas, 10 KDMP manage 3 kilogram LPG bases, while the other five cooperatives develop their own businesses, such as opening a grocery store.

He said that all cooperatives that have been operating have been ensured to meet all administrative requirements, including having business permits, NIB, NPWP, and being a legal entity through the Ministry of Law Decree.

According to Kiswoyo, the Blora Regency Government continues to encourage cooperative managers to be able to run their businesses professionally while expanding partnership opportunities with various parties.

The cooperation, he continued, includes partnerships with PT Pertamina Patra Niaga in the distribution of LPG, Pupuk Indonesia for the distribution of subsidized fertilizers, to Perum Bulog in the distribution of subsidized rice and basic necessities.

Kiswoyo emphasized that the success of KDMP depends heavily on the ability of cooperative management to develop businesses so that they can provide economic benefits to rural communities.

Meanwhile, regarding the number of employees and the amount of KDMP employees' salaries, Kiswoyo emphasized that this was not the authority of the Trade, Cooperatives, and SMEs Service.

According to him, labor management and payroll systems are the authority of Agrinas, while the local government focuses on licensing and administrative aspects of cooperative business.
