"The growth in transactions reflects the continued increase in public interest in utilizing the Digital Gold Physical Market Trade as an investment alternative," said Acting President Director of ICDX Nursalam in an official statement in Jakarta, quoted by Antara, Saturday, July 25.
As a stock exchange, he continued, ICDX will continue to maintain the independence and transparency of trading, as well as carry out continuous literacy and education involving all stakeholders, from regulators to digital gold traders.

Chairman of the Indonesian Digital Gold Traders Association (PPEDI) Anang Samsudin said that the growth of digital gold transactions in the first half of 2026 was driven by several factors, including the increasing literacy of the public regarding digital gold and the high volatility of gold prices.
Therefore, said Anang, digital gold is one of the options for investors to diversify assets or store them as part of long-term financial planning.
As a digital gold association in Indonesia, PPEDI is stated to always support members to increase public literacy and collaborate with various parties to expand the digital gold market in Indonesia.
"On the other hand, customer protection and security are PPEDI's top priority. We continue to coordinate with related institutions to ensure the security of customer transactions, including ensuring the availability of physical gold assets with a ratio of 1:1 as the underlying asset of gold owned by investors," he said.
