Government Efforts to Stop Budget Leaks, Can be for MBG, Bridges, and Schools
President Prabowo Subianto is firmly committed to stopping budget leaks and increasing the efficiency of state spending. This was conveyed in his remarks at the 28th Birthday Celebration of the National Awakening Party (PKB) at the Jakarta Convention Center, Thursday, July 23.
The budget can then be optimally utilized for programs that are directly felt by the community, such as Free Nutritious Meals (MBG), bridge construction, to school rehabilitation.
President Prabowo explained that the government continues to strengthen efforts to close various state budget leaks that have reduced the effectiveness of the utilization of national resources.
According to President Prabowo, Indonesia's Incremental Capital Output Ratio (ICOR) economic indicator shows that there is still inefficiency in the utilization of investment and state spending.
This condition, continued President Prabowo, reflects the continued leakage in the management of state budgets, including the practice of inflating prices in the procurement of government goods and services.
