Knock! DPR Approves The Budget Of The Ministry Of Finance For The 2022 Period Of IDR 43.1 Trillion

JAKARTA - Commission XI of the Indonesian House of Representatives approved the indicative ceiling of the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) for the 2022 period proposed by Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani of Rp43.19 trillion.

This amount is less than the total 2021 budget of Rp46.27 trillion. Meanwhile, the parliament's approval was set for Thursday, June 10.

In detail, the budget for next year will be distributed to five sectors, namely the Fiscal Policy Program of Rp. 27.41 billion, the State Revenue Program of Rp. 3.20 trillion, and the State Expenditure Management Program of Rp. 18.38 billion.

Then, the Treasury, State Wealth and Risk Program amounted to Rp144 billion, and the Management Support Program Rp39.79 trillion.

Meanwhile, based on the source of funds, the indicative ceiling of the Ministry of Finance for Fiscal Year 2022 consists of three things. The first is pure rupiah of Rp33.62 trillion, Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) of Rp7.08 billion, and Public Service Agency (BLU) of Rp9.65 trillion.

"Through the function of the Ministry of Finance, the Minister of Finance is to ensure that central government spending has better spending, which is characterized by efficient, productive spending, producing a multiplier effect on the economy, and effectively prospering the people," the DPR Commission XI recommended after approving the Ministry of Finance's budget proposal.

On the same occasion, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani said that the various responses received from board members became valuable inputs for the creation of better organizational governance.

"Basically, various questions, observations, and also the views of the leaders and members of Commission XI are in line with the spirit we have, for that I feel comfortable conveying this," he said.
