Attorney General Minta Case Febrie Adriansyah does not Disturb Handling of Cases at Jampidsus

JAKARTA - Attorney General ST Burhanuddin asked that the case of alleged corruption and money laundering involving former Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Febrie Adriansyah not interfere with the continuity of handling cases at Jampidsus.

He conveyed this in his message to the new Jampidsus, Kuntadi, at the inauguration of the new chief prosecutor at the main building of the Attorney General's Office, Jakarta, Friday, July 24.

In order to restore the spirit of the Gedung Bundar or investigators at the Jampidsus in carrying out their duties, Burhanuddin asked Kuntadi to immediately carry out consolidation.

"Improve their morale again," he said, quoted by ANTARA.

In addition, he asked Kuntadi to coordinate across fields and across agencies to ensure that any obstacles to handling cases can be resolved quickly, accurately, and accurately.

The leader of the Adhyaksa Corps also asked all cases of corruption that are being handled by the Attorney General's Office to continue to run independently, objectively, professionally, transparently, and not influenced by any interests.

"Never be afraid of facing pressure, intervention, or intimidation from any party as long as the actions taken are in accordance with laws and regulations and community norms," he said.

The Attorney General reminded the Jampidsus team to pay special attention to cases involving the livelihood of the community and those that have a major impact on the country's finances and economy.

"Make sure that each case is handled thoroughly, not selective, and supported by sufficient evidence, after being followed by optimal asset tracking and recovery," he said.

Today, Attorney General ST Burhanuddin appointed several key officials of the Attorney General's Office, namely Asep Nana Mulyana as Deputy Attorney General, Leonardo Eben Ezer Simanjuntak as Attorney General for General Criminal Cases (Jampidum), Kuntadi as Jampidsus, Harli Siregar as Head of the Education and Training Agency of the Attorney General's Office of Indonesia, Patris Yusrian Jaya as Head of the Asset Recovery Agency, and Hermon Dekristo as Expert Staff of the Attorney General for Political, Security, and Law Enforcement.
